Story of Joy

This lines were written during my college days... This is the story of a guy People called him *Joy*** True to his name Used to make people smile One day he came to a new land Believing everybody will be his friend True to his nature Provided people a helping hand Owing to his nature Starting working for his future True to his effort Tasted success in new culture Buddies told he was a flirt guy Always trying to impress lady in sky True to his own self Never wanted to be labeled a lover boy Trying to rally behind them Who always made fun of him True to his temperament Longing a great future for them Some of his pals Asked him not to go after gals True to his commitment Left everything but still received phone calls People did not like His constantly making stride True to his god Never did anything to make them dislike *Joy* is now leaving forever With the promise to return never But still true to his name He will make them smile for ever and ever and ever

Tribute to Simran

This week I lost one of my friends Simranjeet Singh; a very jovial person, sincere and kind by heart. I met Simran for the first time on June 21st - the date I moved to Ludhiana although I had interacted him several times in past few months mainly on official front. I was caught unaware when our Chief Marketing Executive called me up on 22nd enquiring about Simran's wellbeing. Next moment I was praying to God to keep him hale and hearty but got shocked when I reached hospital only to know that Simran had left all of us. A good friend and a very strong person,Simran, always made a person think why we cant take on challenges and win them over. Simran had fallen down the steps only to get hurt on his head. A great person and an acclaimed Punjabi lyricist,Simran has left a big void in hearts that can never be filled. I pray to God to rest the departed soul in peace and give his family courage to bear this unbearable loss.

Why I cry

Below lines may be an indication of person's depressive state but probably they indicate more of a persons inability to cope with the situation. Sometimes these may encourage a person to come out of the situation. This is an effort in that direction. When dreams shatter Goals scatter Eyes get wet And I cry When success disowns Failure succumbs The nerves break And I cry When desires arise Circumstances deny The mind wobbles And I cry When mistakes surround Confessions consume The smoke engulfs And I cry When family relegates Friends’ delegate The heart weeps And I cry When nobody listens Everybody cautions The head becomes numb And I cry When love disappears Abhorrence emits The life disowns And I cry

Kashmir Crisis- Search for a novel solution

Kashmir is burning yet again and this is becoming a trend for the last three years. The cry for self rule and self determination has again propagated. Being a Kashmiri myself, it hurts when my homeland bleeds and probably that me search for some articles related to Kashmir on net, article that would give some figurative information about the damages we Indians are suffering from being a administrator of Kashmir and an article that would give some possible solution to the Kashmir crisis. The quest ends with an article by Bhaskar Sarkar on the portal merinews.com. I am posting the link to this article as it tunes with some of my sentiments as well. http://www.merinews.com/article/a-novel-solution-to-the-kashmir-problem/15825693.shtml Bhaskar has tried to encapsulate the thoughts in a very effective manner but two important points that need a lot of focus remain unanswered. Point 1: The article doesnot answer anything about the status of Kashmiri Hindus- the Pandits. How to take the case
