Princess and the pauper


A small fable about incomplete love...

A heartening fable about pauper and the princess
When they met at a marketplace
Pauper loved the princess the first moment
Princess realized this intent

Love blossomed like the morning flower
Till the princess figured the real vagrant
The pauper told her the real story
Princess fell in love with the glory

Pauper realized there was no beginning
Could not control his willing
Wanted to spend some loving moments
Princess agreed with a condition

Pauper forgot all his pains
The moment of displeasure and disdain
Loved the time and fulfilled the desire
When he adored and she admired

Princess loved his honesty
His truth and sincerity
Pauper had suffered a lot
Wanted to die rather than goin apart

Princess realized the real world one day
Decided to end everything the instant day
Pauper had riches by her glitch
Taken aback by the decision

The princess started being away
That made the pauper wary
Pauper wanted to marry the princess
But knew the decision right away

One day the pauper lost his conscience
Started crying Princess Princess every second
The mob found him insane
A threat to society and put him on flame

The pauper cried while he was on pyre
Never realized he lost his desire
But smiled the last moment
As he promised to meet her yet again

Respect her!!!

The time of Corona has brought in it the lockdown. Lockdown is the state of affairs when the whole world comes to stand still. Any change would carry with it the innate quality of inviting criticism both for and against it . Lockdown is no different. There may be people who are favouring lockdown while as there is a subset of our population which are against it too. My analysis is it happened for our good and we all need to bear this adventure. The best part of lockdown for me has been that the public broadcasting of the two mythological epics Ramayana and Mahabharata. Both these epics represent the ethos of Indian civilisation and how the Indian civilisation has evolved over the time. My icon for life!!!

A banker hardly gets time to socialise owing to the enormous stress and pressure. This community is slowly and steadily turning into a forlorn lark. Being a part of this community, i also hardly get any time to attend any social gathering. Even keeping abreast with the latest happenings is also sometimes impossible. These days, due to internet blockade in the state of Jammu & Kashmir, we are unable to remain facebook and whatsapp active. The dependency on the idiot box gets increased. The KBC has been our favourite TV show over the last decade or so. We have actually grown with it. The show gives a boost for any avid current affairs reader.
